Rohde & Schwarz: From Oscilloscope Bode Plot to Vector Network Analyzer

During this presentation we will develop the understanding for Vector Network Analysis.
We will start with the Oscilloscope based Bode Plot and derive from there S-Parameters and its meaning. We will compare the differences between a real VNA and Siglent hybrid instrument (SVA1000X – Spectrum & Vector Network Analysis). There will also be a very short into Smith Chart. We’ll close with some application examples.
